Sad to hear of Michael's passing. His blogs iMonk and Boars Head Tavern were in my opinion pioneering theo blogs. Always insightful with much Christian charity, he will be missed.
Oh my! I hadn't heard. I read his blog semi-regularly without knowing he was an ordained Baptist minister (my denominational legacy), or that he was a hospice chaplain. My connection was our fondness for Thomas Merton. He will be missed.

I just recently started following his blog - seemed like a very good person - very relevant to the times he was in.
He is much appreciated and I hope his family peace during this time of sadness.

this is very sad.
His book comes out this year. A real achievement. Too bad Michael didn't live to see it.
