Wonderful commentary. Who'd a thought that all this great stuff couldn't make us happy? Who'd a thought that our stuff could actually make us more miserable people?
"Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten." James 5:2
We need to recapture the art of losing our life to gain it (Matthew 10:39) and selling all we have and following Jesus. Because when we forsake our possessions we find our prosperity. When we leave it all we can find the pearl.
