I just did the Belief Net Belief O Matic survey. I did it 3 years ago too. Things have changed a bit since then. Here I am now:

ReplyDeleteHope you don't mind. I'm posting the top three here.
ReplyDelete1. Mahayana Buddhism (100%)
2. Theravada Buddhism (99%)
3. Jainism (97%)
Lol. I'm supposed to be a Mormon.
15. Mormon (55%)
Heh! That is funny Ark.
ReplyDeleteI think, at least on the Christian ones, unless they state that it is liberal, they assume the most conservative type. For example, they listed me as last for Catholicism, but there are a number of Catholic authors and speakers who I am pretty nearly aligned with.
Your Top 3 Faith Match Profiles Are:
ReplyDelete1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (95%)
3. Liberal Quakers (77%)
Were really not that far apart.
I was listed last for Catholic (33%), too. I scored pretty high (No. 4, 94%) for Liberal Quakers. My brother alternates between attending Quaker services and Mormon services on Sundays. He's literally claimed two religions. Maybe he's got it figured out. I dabble in a lot of Hindu literature (no temples/community where I'm from), so seeing it pretty far down the list (No. 10, 73%) is a bit of a surprise. Probably not a survey one should take seriously though.
ReplyDelete1. Neo-Pagan (100%)
ReplyDelete2. New Age (94%)
3. Taoist (89%)
That comes in as a little strange to me.
1. Liberal Quakers (100%)
ReplyDelete2. Reform Judaism (98%)
3. Unitarian Universalism (95%)
Thanks for linking to the quiz! It was fun and interesting. I'm not too surprised at my results though.
